The Birth Blueprint 2025

Birth Blueprint 2025 is a community-driven initiative dedicated to improving birth outcomes for women of color and their families in Detroit and across Michigan. Through workshops, public service announcements, and trusted partnerships with doulas, nurses, and maternal health experts, Birth Blueprint 2025 provides education, resources, and support for every stage of the journey — from pregnancy and labor to postpartum healing and mental wellness. Our mission is simple: empower families, eliminate preventable deaths, and create healthier beginnings for every baby.

Birth in P.E.A.C.E.

This inspiring 30-second PSA teaches expecting parents how to “Birth in P.E.A.C.E.” — a simple acronym for Plan, Explore, Ask, Change, and Embrace. From creating a birth plan and knowing your pain relief options, to asking for doula support, staying active, and focusing on healing, this message empowers families to approach labor with confidence. Presented by Birth Blueprint 2025 and WVTC Detroit, it’s a reminder that every birth can be peaceful, powerful, and informed.

H.E.A.L.S. – Nourishing Moms, Nurturing Families

Healing after birth is more than rest — it’s a full-body, full-heart journey. This uplifting 30-second PSA reminds Detroit mothers that breastfeeding is more than just feeding — it’s a bond, a blessing, and a beginning. Using the easy-to-remember acronym L.A.T.C.H., listeners learn key tips: Learn the truth, Ask for help, Trust the process, Create your comfort zone, and Hold on to your goals. This message empowers moms to embrace their breastfeeding journey with confidence and support.
